Beginning December 1st, 2019, all non-native English speakers are required to complete and pass an oral examination to receive TESOL certification. Those who fail the examination will only receive a certificate of course completion, and have the opportunity to retake the examination up to 9 times. In the examination you will be asked three or four questions about yourself. The kinds of questions typically asked are listed below.
